RAM DASS: PREMIUM SPONSORSHIPS Southern Springs is bringing Ram Dass to Tallahassee on Wednesday, February 5, 2003. Ram Dass is the world-renowned author of several books, including Be Here Now and his recent book, Still Here: Embracing Aging, Changing, and Dying, a book about conscious aging, with anecdotal references to the stroke that he suffered in 1997 and his rehabilitation process. The lecture will be about conscious aging, death and dying, and spirituality. The evening will take place at the Leon County Civic Center, beginning at 7 p.m. with the beautiful sound of Krishna Das chanting and playing the harmonium. Tickets for this special evening will be $20 if purchased in advance or $25 at the door. You can purchase tickets at Crystal Connection, Grassroots Free School, Higher Taste, Honeytree Natural Foods, Magnolia School, Taste Buds Cafe, or by sending a check to Southern Springs, 2032 Wedgewood Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32317 We are offering five levels of sponsorship to help Southern Springs fund this event: $2,500 Level: We are seeking one major co-sponsor, who will be listed in all our publicity as co-sponsor of this special evening. The major co-sponsor will receive tickets for fifteen seats in the first three rows and four reservations for a special reception with Ram Dass, which will take place after the lecture. In addition, the major co-sponsor will be featured in the program as such. $1,000 Level: Sponsors at this level receive tickets for eight seats in the first three rows, two reservations for the reception, and sponsorship recognition in the program. $500 Level: Sponsors at this level receive tickets for four seats in the first three rows, one reservation for the reception, and sponsorship recognition in the program. $250 Level: Sponsors at this level receive a ticket for one seat in the first three rows, one reservation for the reception and sponsorship recognition in the program. Less than $250 Level: We will have a section in the program to recognize those who wish to support Southern Springs with contributions in lesser amounts. Table Space: If you wish to sell any items at this event, we have space to set up four tables. The rental per table is $150, and the items for sale must be approved by Southern Springs prior to the night of the event. The eight-foot tables are provided by the civic center.
